The collaboration of nine local artists, Urban Spotlight is a peaceful park during the day, with beautiful landscaping and fountains. After dusk, the park is transformed into a lively playground, featuring a stunning landscape of blue lights, joyful music from jazz to hip hop, regular live performances, and an alfresco café.

THE DOME OF LIGHT
Kaohsiung takes its mission to transform public space into an art gallery seriously, and metro stations are no exception. Just one metro stop from Ambassador Hotel Kaohsiung, Formosa Boulevard Station turns an otherwise mundane journey into an enchanting experience of art and culture.
Named the second most beautiful train station in the world, Formosa Boulevard Station is home to the Dome of Light, a round-shaped artwork that measures 30 meters in diameter. Created by renowned Italian artist Narcissus Quagliata, the Dome of Light is the world’s largest public art installation made from colored glass and tells the story of love and tolerance.

LIUHE NIGHT MARKET
Discover an amazing array of delicious street food at Liuhe Night Market. Voted as the most charming night market, Liuhe has been a seafood lovers’ paradise for more than six decades.
