HSINCHU 17-KILOMETER COASTAL SCENIC AREA
Spend a leisurely day and take in spectacular ocean views of the Hsinchu 17-Kilometer Coastal Scenic Area, just 20 minutes’ drive from Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu.
Rent a bike and start from Nanliao Fishing Port in the north, which features a recreational pier and a weekend seafood market. Along the way, stop at Seaview Park, Gangnan Canal, Mangrove Park, Splendid Coastline, and Haishan Harbor Leisure Pier. At the southern end, you’ll find a wide range of migratory birds at the Nangang Bird Watching Area.

QINGCAO LAKE
Qingcao Lake, which literally means green grass lake, is a breathtaking scenic spot surrounded by lush greenery, just 15 minutes’ drive from Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu.
Take a leisurely stroll or cycle around the lake. Enjoy beautiful lake views and total relaxation as you visit the various sites of the lake including gardens, bridges, and a bird observation area.

GREEN WORLD ECOLOGICAL FARM

LEOFOO VILLAGE THEME PARK
Approximately 40 minutes’ drive from Ambassador Hotel Hsinchu, Leofoo Village Theme Park is one of Taiwan’s most popular amusement parks.
The park comprises four areas: African Safari, Wild West, South Pacific, and Arabian Kingdom. Get up close and personal with more than 70 species and over a thousand wild animals from giraffes to rhinos to zebras. Enjoy exciting coaster rides. Watch shows. Tour the park on the steam train.
